VILLADOSE (Rovigo) – A festive evening with great participation from clubs, athletes and families last night in the setting of the renovated Piazza Aldo Moro in Villadose for the Polesana volleyball team, which celebrated its best moments of the season with the now customary Champions Ceremony.
After the greetings from the authorities – the sports councilor of the municipality of Villadose was present, Davide Aggiothe provincial vice president, Simone Ghirotto, and the CONI provincial delegate, Lucio Taschin -, acclaimed loudly and amidst the applause of the many people present, the moment of farewell has arrived Salvatore “Toto” Rossini, ex-Italian libero, exceptional testimonial of the eveningwho presented the awards to the players and personally recounted some of the most significant stages of his career, complete with selfies with his hands raised to the sky with the audience.
Next came the federal awards for the regional promotions of the referees and those for the new faces among the referees, before proceeding with the presentations of the under 14 and under 15 male teams and the under 14 female team, who took part in the respective Territorial Trophies in Peschiera del Garda, province of Verona, and in Montebelluna, province of Treviso, between March and May, as well as the male and female teams who were protagonists in the same event last Saturday in beach volleyball version in Rosolina Mare.
After the awards to the promotion, school and Volley S3 sectors, we moved on to the awards for the territorial champions by category, the InSand Cup beach volleyball champions and finally the territorial series champions. Sports equipment was given to all the companies.
