L’signing of Marco Bezzecchi on the part of Aprilia has virtually completed the appointments between the official teams of the 2025 MotoGP. The Rimini native will join Jorge Martin, leaving his Ducati free in Team VR46, where the candidates are now Franco Morbidelli, Fermin Aldeguer alongside the possible confirmation of Fabio Di Giannantonio. From the drivers market to the CIV: what emotions at Mugello!
On the track, the CIV offered an exciting weekend at Mugello. Michele Pirro he wasted everything in Race 1, crashing when he was in the lead and leaving the victory to Alessandro Delbianco, but in Race 2 the Ducati rider redeemed himself by obtaining his 70th success in the Italian Superbike. Worth noting is Marcos Ruda’s double in Moto3, where he has full points.
The JuniorGP raced in Portimao, where Guido Pini debuted with a bang in the Mondialinon and also the EnduroGP he spoke Italian, once again thanks to Andrea Verona: the Venetian won Day 2 of the home GP, in Bettola, in the Piacenza area, relaunching himself in the race for the title in the premier class. Verona is 10 points behind Josep Garcia, winner of Day 1. Italy is also a protagonist among the youngest, with Manolo Morettini winner in the Junior, Manuel Verzeroli and Luca Colorio sharing the two days of the Youth.
Ducati and Cairoli, a winning combination
Antonio Cairoli’s class was not lost during the stop period. The nine-time World Champion won on his race debut on the Ducati 450 Desmo MX, in the “one-off” presence at Ponte a Egola, in the Italian Prestige Motocross. Race 2 went to his teammate Alessandro Lupino, now leader of the Italian championship in MX1. In MX2, however, Valerio Lata – fresh from his first podium in the World Championship – confirmed himself as the pacesetter.
