On Saturday the Tour de France will cross the territories of the municipalities of Premilcuore, Galeata and Santa Sofia. After leaving Florence at 12, the cyclists involved in the well-known sporting race will tackle the Tre Faggi pass, towards Premilcuore. From there the route will continue towards San Zeno, Monte delle Forche, Galeata and Santa Sofia. In Santa Sofia the large snake on two wheels will pass via Nefetti, then Piazza Garibaldi and continue towards the Passo del Carnaio, before crossing over to San Piero in Bagno and heading towards Mercato Saraceno, in view of the final climbs towards Novafeltria, San Leo, San Marino and the finishing line in Rimini. Obviously, to ensure the smooth running of the race, some changes will be necessary to the roads in the three municipal areas which will include closures and traffic restrictions.

Premilcuore

In Premilcuore, Strada Provinciale 3 del Rabbi will be closed from 11am to 3pm in the Tre Faggi – Ponte Fantella section.

Galeata

Entering the municipal territory of Galeata, Provincial Road 3 del Rabbi, Strada Provinciale 24 (Strada S. Zeno-Galeata), Strada Provinciale 4 del Bidente will be closed to traffic from 11am to 3.30pm. Piazza Gramsci in Galeata will also be closed to vehicular traffic with a ban on parking and forced removal from 8am to 8pm. The exit of the employees of the Amadori-Pollo del Campo company will be managed by the local police (by approximately 11.45am ) towards the towns of Galeata and Santa Sofia.

Hagia Sophia

Also in the municipal area of ​​Santa Sofiala, Provincial Road 4 del Bidente will be closed to traffic from 11.00 to 15.30. From 6am in via Nefetti (at the petrol station and the municipal cemetery) a finish line will be set up for the sprint arrival of the cyclists, with a barrier of around 300 meters on each side. This will be done while still ensuring the alternating passage of vehicles. There will be closure to vehicular traffic with the establishment of a parking ban and forced removal of Via Pisacane (from Piazza Garibaldi to the intersection with Via Minuccia) from 9am to 8pm. Finally, a parking ban will be established in all car parks located along Via Nefetti-Centro of Santa Sofia (side of the parish church of S. Lucia and side of the Casentinesi Forest National Park, Monte Falterona, Campigna). The passage of emergency vehicles will be guaranteed.
