To celebrate 25 years of partnership with the All Blacks and the New Zealand federation, Adidas returns to tradition.
Black shirt with white collar, and vice versa for the away one, exactly as it was in the 90s and a video that recalls in every way the history of the last 25 years. From the location to the subjects among which many of the faces that have made the myth of the All Blacks and Black Ferns even greater stand out among the players of the present: from the 2011 and 2015 world champions such as Dan Carter, Richie McCaw, Keven Mealamu and Ma’a Nonu, to the unmistakable Fa’alogo Tana Umaga, without forgetting a champion like Anna Richards.

The All Blacks’ 2024/25 home shirt
For the first time, the All Blacks and Blacks Ferns have a unified look, which incorporates iconic design elements from New Zealand rugby. After last year’s uniforms, which did not receive general approval from the public, the new shirt seems to have been well received by the fans. The Adidas press release describes the introduced look like this.
“Bold in its simplicity, the jersey offers a traditional black base decorated with exclusive silver details – selected for the 25th anniversary – on an enlarged fern emblem, the adidas logo and the iconic Three Stripes running down both shoulders for first time. The jersey sees the return of an all-white collar design; a popular feature, already seen on some of New Zealand’s best-loved rugby shirts, including the one in which the All Blacks won the 2011 Rugby World Cup.”

However, Italian fans will not see this shirt during the Autumn Nations Series, when the All Blacks visit the Allianz Stadium in Turin to challenge Italy. Under the new rules, New Zealand as the visiting team will wear the second jersey, featuring reversed patterns. Here is the away kit that the All Blacks will use in 2024/25.
