Between Sinner and Halle’s title there is Hubert Hurkacz, 27 year old Polish number 9 in the world, friend of Jannik. The two played the doubles tournament in Halle, coming out in the quarterfinals. In 2024 Hurkacz has a record of 29 wins and 12 losses, he won the tournament in Estoril, Portugal, his eighth career title.

Hunting for title number 14 of his career Jannik Sinner. The 22-year-old from South Tyrol, freshly ranked number 1 in the world (he has been officially since 10 June) plays his first final on grass in Halle. For Sinner it is the final number 18 of his career.
