The 18 year old has in fact expressed himself in a relevant 13.73 with 0.2 m/s tailwind and ha improved by six hundredths the 13.79 set by Lorenzo Simonelli in 2021: today a youth record of the current absolute European Champion of the specialty, author of a resounding 13.05 in Rome a couple of weeks ago, collapsed.
The representative of Bergamo Stars Atletica tries to follow in the footsteps of the Lazio player, after having already signed the best national time under 20 in the 60 indoor hurdles (7.76, six hundredths better than Simonelli). Matteo Togni finished in sixth place just behind Hassane Fofana (13.72), while Veronica Besana she is third in the 100 hurdles in 13.04 (-0.4 m/s) and Elena Carraro seventh in 13.40.
