Great show in the tenth qualifying of the 2024 F1 world championship, with Lando Norris ahead of Verstappen. The Ferraris are back.
Second pole position in his F1 career for Lando Norrisalmost three years after the one obtained in Russia. The Briton drove his McLaren ahead of everyone, lapping in 1’11”383followed by Red Bull Of Max Verstappen, trailing by just 20 thousandths. The world champion seemed uncatchable, but Lando invented a masterpiece final lap, thus putting himself ahead of everyone, also thanks to a remarkable race pace based on what was seen in free practice.
The second row is all Mercedeswith Lewis Hamilton which it kept behind by just 2 thousandths George Russellconfirming the notable growth of the F1 W15. Third row for the Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, which continue to pay a lot in the second and third sectors, problems that the Red team has been carrying with it for 15 years on the Montmelò track. Seventh a great one Alpine with Pierre Gaslyfollowed by Sergio Perez and from Esteban Ocon. Oscar Piastridue to a long series of errors, closes the top ten.
F1, the Ferraris can do nothing

In Q3 the challenge heats up between Lando Norris And Max Verstappen, with the McLaren standard bearer who invents a masterpiecethus taking the second pole position of his F1 career, while the Ferraris had to settle for a modest third row, behind the excellent Mercedes. The race starts at 3pm tomorrow.
