Another important season has ended for Paganica Rugby: the club is already working for the future.
PAGANICA RUGBY, SENIORES TEAM
The year that saw the return to Serie A it was undoubtedly difficult, but very satisfying. The Company congratulates the technical staff and the athletes for their commitment and desire to perform well demonstrated in every match, always honoring the shirt. Thanks also go to all the staff of the Rossoneri club for their collaboration based on daily dedication and commitment and also to the fans and sponsors, who have never lacked their support. The foundations are being laid for the next season to identify adequate solutions to the problems that emerged during the season just closed and for strengthen the organizational and financial structure.
CONFIRMATIONS FOR NEXT SEASON
For the 2024/2025 sports season the Company confirms:
– Sergio Rotellini as technical manager of the youth sector and as head coach of the First team, assisted by Fabio Andreassi as coach of the forwards and with them all the staff of collaborators from last season;
-the professor. Antonello Cappelletti as head of the Propaganda Sector;
-for the first team the Fijian Joji Buli and a second foreign athlete;
-the desire to continue the collaboration with the Paganica Comprehensive Institute for the school project
PROPAGANDA AND YOUTH SECTOR
The season was intense and very satisfying thanks also and above all to the work carried out by Prof. Antonello Cappelletti and all the coaches and companions. There are memberships of over 80 athletes distributed among the various Unders (6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16) to which are added 30 in the school sector. The Under 16s played their championship together with the L’Aquila rugby club as part of a tutoring project, but next season he will play the championship again under the colors of the Rossoneri club. The Turing of the Neroverde Sports Club will continue for the Under 18s. As regards the Propaganda Sector, the team ofIC Paganica school institution for the Under 8 and 10 categories, with around thirty athletes registered for this new club affiliated to the FIR and of which Paganica Rugby plays the role of tutor.
INSTALLATIONS
The works, which began in October 2023, continue thanks to the commitment of the municipal administration, for the new Club House which hopefully will be completed before the start of the next sports season. Work began in May extraordinary maintenance of the Iovenitti turfwhich, in addition to the ordinary maintenance carried out during the championship, they do one of the best in Central Italy.
FINANCIAL ASPECTS
This year too the balance sheet closes on a positive note and the heavy previous debts have practically been eliminated. This allows us to look to the future with greater confidence and with greater resources to invest in the Company’s activities, guaranteeing athletes greater security.

SOCIAL COMMITMENT
The Rossoneri Club has stood out, as in recent years, for its social commitment. On the one hand, the collaboration with theBiblipaganica Association and with the VAS – blood donorsthe one with was consolidated “Michele’s House” for autism, the Community XXIV July, the Special Olympics, the UEPE (Criminal Enforcement Office), the Aquilartes association and some family homes in L’Aquila for unaccompanied foreign minors. To these collaborations was added the one withArcigay – “M. Consuls” of L’Aquila.
