There will be 20 runners who will compete today to conquer the tricolor jersey of the professional time trial. It runs in Grosseto on a 17.550 km route that the runners will have to tackle twice for a total of 35.1 km.

The first to leave will be Giulio Masotto of Corratec Vini Fantini.
