Good morning friends of OA Sport and welcome to the Live broadcast of the 1st round match of the ATP 500 in Halle between Lorenzo Sonego and Alexander Zverev.
After an excellent first match on the lawns, the Turin native seeks a statement of prestige in a context he likes against the outgoing Roland Garros finalist. Zverev who, after resounding result achieved in Paris, has decided to cancel itself from Stuttgart and return to the well-attended 500 in Halle. Sonego is currently in virtual 57th place in the ATP rankings, winning would halve the gap with Flavio Cobolli, currently 49th. Let’s remember that there is an open race for a place on the draw in Montreal and Cincinnati, the next big tournaments for which the entry lists must be released.
