The announcement, which came via an official report, now worries all enthusiasts and motorcyclists who over the years have learned to appreciate and love the goodies launched on the market from time to time. It is therefore expected that, in the current year 2024, there will be a significant drop in sales despite the decidedly competitive prices that the group’s companies manage to have on the market. The Board estimates a drop of 10-15% of sales due to the current market trend. This is a very worrying situation.

It is therefore no coincidence that: “In the current financial year, growth in Pierer Mobility’s core motorcycle markets in the United States and Europe has undergone a significant slowdown. Due to the latest interest rate decisions in the United States, Interest rates are expected to remain high“.
“All this – it continues – will have a negative impact on sales expectations for the American market. Sales figures in Europe also continue to be volatile. Overall, Pierer Mobility’s sales figures will not reach expectations this year after three years of above-average success“.
After years of exceeding expectations in terms of sales, a decline is therefore expected which worries the top management of the various manufacturers but also sector enthusiasts. To deal with the losses, anything can happen in economic terms. An increase in prices is therefore not completely ruled out either, which would however weigh on the pockets of motorcyclists. The hope is therefore that the market will stabilize as soon as possible, without too ‘heavy’ consequences.
