All that’s missing is the final ratification of the Highway Code, that by the Senate, and then everything will be official. Among all the models currently in circulation on the market, let’s see together the best in terms of performance but also in terms of value for money.
As mentioned, the Senate is about to give the green light to new Highway Code according to which 125 scooters can also circulate on the motorway. A choice that revolutionizes much of the habits of Italians who until now have used this vehicle only in the city and on extra-urban roads, with the exception of motorways and even ring roads.
Here habits are now about to change and, after the approval of the House, that of the Senate is also about to arrive. The possibility will therefore be given to drivers of 125 who are in possession of driving license A, B and above but also to those who are gifted with A1 or A2 driving license for at least two years. Then we have the Piaggio Liberty 125 with 11 HP of power at 8,250 rpm and a torque of 10.7 Nm at 6,500 rpm; here the consumption is 40 km/l and the price is 2,999 euros.
Also worth mentioning is theAprilia SR GT, more powerful than the previous ones: it declares a maximum of 15 HP at 8,750 rpm and a torque of 12 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Consumption is 2.5 l/100 km and as regards the price there are different levels to consider. For the basic model we are talking about 3,999 euros; for the ‘Sport Abs’ version it reaches 4,299 euros, while for the top-of-the-range ‘Replica’ version, with racing livery, it reaches 4,499 euros.
These models should also be taken into consideration. The Keeway Iskia 125 it has a price of 2,390 euros with 7.7 HP of power at 7,500 rpm and 8.5 Nm of maximum torque at 6,000 rpm. The Kymco Agility 125 from 10.6 HP at 8,500 rpm and 9.3 Nm of maximum torque at 7,000 rpm but 2,790 euros (which becomes 2,290 euros in the Power Up version).
