GIRO NEXT GEN, POSITIVE RESULTS FOR THE BIESSE CARRERA TEAM

It’s time to take stock at Team Biesse Carrera following the conclusion of the Giro Next Gen, where the Continental team from Brescia participated with six athletes (Nicolò Pettiti, Andrea D’Amato, Andrea Montoli, Nicolò Arrighetti, Etienne Grimod and Tommaso Dati) in the international event for Under 23s which saw the curtain fall after yesterday’s finish line in Forlimpopoli.

“The boys – says the sports director Marco Milesi they performed well, we achieved several top ten finishes and three times we were the best team of the day. The team has always moved well, the only flaw is that they were missing in the general classification. Everyone’s desire was to win a victory, we tried until the end, in Forlimpopoli we were in the decisive breakaway (with Andrea Montoli, nfc), the final was a bit missing.”

In the fourth stage Pertusio-Borgomanero, Team Biesse Carrera reached the podium with sprinter Andrea D’Amato, third in addition to Nicolò Arrighetti’s ninth place. D’Amato himself repeated himself the following day in the sprint in Cremona, finishing in fourth position.

“The budget – adds the team’s other sporting director, Dario Nicolettiit’s positive, this year too we brought the full team to the final finish of the Giro after eight stages. We leave with a good condition in view of the Italian Road Championships.”
