A few dozen minutes ago it was made official the list of 18 teams that will take part in the 2024-2025 Euroleague season. The most important news, from an Italian perspective, is that there will still be two Italian teams at the start.

In fact, there remains a place for Virtus Segafredo Bologna in the top continental league alongside that of Olimpia Milano, which is one of the founders of the current format (and, indeed, they intend to go for an extension until 2040). The season, as regards the Euroleague, will start on 3 October, while as regards the EuroCup it will start on 24 September. The overlap with the window for the national teams in November remains, while, as in the past season, any conflict is avoided in February.
