The Italian National Men’s 7s team, after the good performance in Makarska, Croatia, is ready to prepare for the trip to Hamburgwhere the second stage of the Rugby Europe Sevens Championship Series. In Croatia the Azzurri finished in sixth place and now aim to reach the semi-finals at least in the second and final stage of the tournament.
“We’re going to Germany to try to get a better placing than the one in Croatia. We must try to finish ahead of Georgia, Germany and Portugal, with the aim of arriving in the top three. The group called is the same one that faced the preparation of the other tournament, made up of many kids who come from the academies. We rely on the mix of young people and experienced players” the words of coach Mazzantini.
