The very young Chinese brand has created a perfect motorcycle: it has an unprecedented quality-price ratio. Let’s find out all the details together.
The brand Kove, which has not yet reached its maximum expansion in Europe, is one of the most promising motorcycle manufacturers of the current decade. Its vehicles usually have a unique and attractive design: most of the models Kove, although born on an eastern territory, incorporates a series of western elements. Indeed, sometimes designers create real modern sculptures.
Despite the meticulous care and excellent materials used, the motorcycles produced by the very young Chinese brand are always quite economical compared to the competition. This year, for example, it announced a futuristic high-performance naked bike, which could revolutionize the global motorcycle market.
Kove’s naked at a very low price: the features
One of the main objectives of the Kove company, which was founded in 2017, is obviously to progressively conquer the European market, through the marketing of low-cost and high-performance models. What is most surprising about these vehicles are above all the details: in fact, the designers take care of every single centimeter with so much passion and competence.
Despite everything, the list price continues to remain competitive compared to the competition. In any case, the most famous motorcycles of the Chinese brand are undoubtedly those belonging to the adventure, roadster, scooter and naked categories. The latter is currently represented by the sporty 450 RR, which in 2022 was presented at the EICMA in Milan.
To be precise, during the Milan Motorcycle Show (EICMA) of 2022, the Kove leaders decided to exhibit the 400 RR prototype, which in June 2023 became the current 450 RR. It is therefore a motorcycle characterized by a sporty design and a very powerful engine. Its engine is in fact powered by a 400 cc in-line 4-cylinder, capable of releasing 71 horsepower at 13,000 rpm. Maximum torque reaches 39 Nm at 10,500 rpm. As for aesthetics, the designers have installed aerodynamic appendages, i.e. those fins usually found on super sports cars. And not only that: the vehicle structure is made up of a trellis frame and an aluminum swingarm. Everything is embellished with a dashboard with TFT display.
However, the leaders of the Kove brand have recently announced the arrival of a new supersport version: the 450 R. The latter is actually a naked streetfighter with a futuristic and aggressive design. According to the latest rumors, it should have the same engine and chassis as the 450 RR model, although the horsepower should be 64.5. One of its strong points will certainly be its lightness, the designers will in fact eliminate the fairing to further lighten the vehicle. The cost of the 450 R is obviously unknown, but the 450 RR version currently has a list price of between $5,000 and $6,000.
