Capital gains, Milan prosecutor opens file on Inter-Roma operations…

The Milan Prosecutor’s Office has opened a file, currently for investigation, without any hypothesis of crime or suspects

The Milan Prosecutor’s Office has opened a file, currently for investigation, without any hypothesis of crime or suspects, after the transmission of the documents by the capital’s prosecutors of an excerpt of the investigation into the capital gains case against the former leaders of As Roma. According to what was published by ‘il Fatto Quotidiano’ in recent days, in fact, the Rome prosecutors, at the same time as the closure of the Roman investigations, had removed a tranche, hypothesizing alleged false corporate communications, on the 2018 transfer transactions between Inter and Roma on the players Nainggolan, Santon and Zaniolo, with transmission in the Lombardy capital of the documents for territorial jurisdiction, in relation to the actions of the Nerazzurri club.

The file, after the documents had recently arrived in the Lombardy capital, was assigned by the prosecutor Marcello Viola to the prosecutor Giovanni Polizzi. In August 2022 the Milanese prosecutor’s office, with prosecutors Polizzi and Giovanna Cavalleri, had requested and obtained the dismissal of the investigation against unknown persons on the capital gains linked to the operations for the transfers of some players (not the cases at the center of the thread transmitted by Rome). According to the investigators, no conduct on the part of Inter or its leaders aimed at altering the 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 financial statements had emerged.
