Volleyball Macerata – Confirmation of central Bara Fall
Fall, “The city deserves the A2, happy to play it in red and white”
The Volley Banca Macerata of the 2024/2025 season was built starting from some key elements of the last championship, including Bara Fall. The center back showed off in Parma in his first season in A3, even in matches against the red and whites, so he established himself last season with Macerata as one of the best performers in his role. He has become a cornerstone of coach Castellano’s sextet and a fan favorite, “The city deserves a team worthy of Serie A2, Macerata lives on volleyball. A good group has been set up by the Club and I’m sure we can do well,” explains Fall.
For the central defender, a new experience in A2 after the call from Tuscania in the 2018/2019 season, but this time it will be an adventure to live as a protagonist, “I am very happy for this occasion. The contract I signed with the Club last year was designed with the aim of playing A2 together; we conquered the category and now we want to keep it.”
“He made a leap in quality last season”, says coach Castellano, “In the final of the championship and in the promotion challenges against Mantua he was dominant but he still has huge margins for improvement and a great desire to get there”.
