The final details still need to be defined, then the program will be completely defined. De Rossi and his staff have decided to start the retreat in the capital on July 8thwithin the walls of Fulvio Bernardini, where the usual ones will initially be carried out medical and athletic tests to evaluate the fitness of the players (excluding national teams) after the holidays.
The actual preparation will then begin: we will work in Trigoria for three weeks (until the end of July) and then head to Great Britain to continue athletic work e also play some friendly matches. De Rossi’s goal is to arrive in perfect shape for the start of championshipscheduled for weekend of August 18th. The hypothesis of an old-fashioned mountain retreat was therefore discarded: after careful evaluation, the staff opted for this solution.
