Rimini for Mutoko returns for its 24th edition: games, sports and entertainment to raise funds to support charitable projects in Zimbabwe, for the mission and hospital founded by Marilena Pesaresi, and for Marilena Pesaresi’s activities. Many tournaments are organized on the beach: from the Beach Tennis tournaments to the FootVolley tournament, from the Beach Volleyball and Beach Volleyball tournaments for boys to the Burraco Tournament on 27 July at Campo Don Pippo.
The highlight is the RunRise, a walk on the beach at dawn at 5.46am on 20 July, starting from the free beach of Piazzale Boscovich.
This morning in the Municipal Residence the presentation of the initiatives. Together with the organizers there was a little girl who had just undergone surgery thanks to Operation Heart and was hosted in Rimini with her mother by Cinzia and her family. There were bishop Anselmi, councilor Lari, various sponsors, representatives of Crescere Insieme and the Mensa di Santo Spirito, with which Rimini for Mutoko collaborates, and of the Inunup company which created and donated the 1,500 t-shirts of the 2026 edition Massimo Migani, director of the Luisa Guidotti hospital in Mutoko, will arrive from Zimbabwe in the next few days.
