The dispute between Fiorentina and the Municipality of Florence continues regarding the renovation works of the Artemio Franchi stadium and this time it ends up in front of Justice. The news of the last few hours comes in fact from the Viola company which has filed an urgent precautionary appeal to suspend the works. In recent days, the club had sent an official letter to Palazzo Vecchio asking for the restyling work to be blocked in the absence of certainties regarding costs and duration, with consequent economic damage for the club. However, the bulldozers did not stop and hence the desire to turn to the Court. Now the judge will have to decide whether to proceed with the work or block everything.

In the meantime, the works will continue because they began in compliance with the times indicated by the PNC and on the basis of an agreement already signed by the viola company, as the Municipality of Florence recalled in recent days. Today, an official reaction or response has not yet arrived from Palazzo Vecchio which, before taking a position, wants to view the contents of the appeal to the court. In the meantime, Fiorentina also issues an official note containing a map of the stadium which shows, based on the agreement signed for the 2024/25 football season, the portions of the sectors that will be excluded from the possibility of selling season tickets and coupons.
