Captain Franceschelli will once again lead the Faenza team in his fourth year in the A1 championship. After finishing the 2023/24 season on a high note, Federica demonstrated that she is back to full fitness after the serious injury that kept her away from the pitch. Despite the courting of many teams in the championship, Dede decided to still wear the white, black and blue colors and fully embraced the project for the new season. She is a fundamental player on a defensive level, but now capable of hurting in any way even on an offensive level. You don’t need many words to describe her, Faenza and all the people of Faenza now have Federica’s grit, determination and passion in their heads. “For us it is a pride to have Fede in the team and as captain. From the first day that she wore this shirt she has always had a professional attitude and above all she has always been ready when the team needed her, on and off the pitch. Federica’s words after the renewal: “As Vasco would say… I’M STILL HERE, ALREADY. I am very happy to be part of this club for next year too, I won’t deny that at the end of the season I found myself faced with several choices but my love for this city and these clubs is too great and therefore I decided to stay. It will be another complicated season, another season where we will have to build the team group from scratch, but I have faith in the staff and I am sure that they are working well in this regard. I know that the team will be young, and this pushed me to stay, because I believe that working with young girls is very stimulating, I’ve already heard from some girls and I feel like I’m breathing good air but only with the start of the season we will know what awaits us.
