From the very first moment of the announcement of Metal Gear Solid DeltaKonami has always been very clear in reiterating that we would have a remake 1:1 Of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake EaterHideo Kojima’s masterpiece released twenty years ago.

This also means that the remake will use the same voice acting as the original gamebut some small (very small, actually) exceptions are allowed.

Producer Noriaki Okamura made this known, speaking during the most recent episode of Metal Gear Production Hotlinehe answered those who asked if and what changes we can expect.

Okamura pointed out that the game will use all the original lines of Snake Eaterwith the exception of the radio calls explaining the game controls to the player.

In that case, in fact, Okamura explained that both the American and Japanese voice actors were asked (no Italian voices for MGS3yes) to lend themselves to re-dubbing those parts, since they will have to quote the keys of today’s controls.

And, in the case of artists unable to reduplicate them, the their permission to be able to create new beats using their original recordings. A solution that will probably be implemented with the help of technologies and that will not have to deal with the fact that, since twenty years have passed since the game’s release, the voice actors who will be called upon to record the new lines could probably have a quite different voice from what we remember.

In any case, this will be the only difference allowed in the game’s writing: In all other sequences, Konami will use the voiced lines for the 2004 release, which is why we can really expect a very faithful remake. A detail, moreover, that was also suggested to us by the most recent trailer, which also included the shots, their timing and the music from the original game montage.

Metal Gear Solid Delta It doesn’t have a launch date yet, but it’s already up for pre-order. Details on the filters and shots that have been added to the game have also been revealed in these hours.
