Val di Sole: the Whoop UCI Mountain Bike World event is underway

Val di Sole becomes the Italian capital of off-road disciplines. The Daolasa di Commezzadura race course is ready to welcome the protagonists of the Whoop UCI Mountain Bike World Series who, on the weekend of 15-16 June, will offer great emotions in the Downhill, Cross Country and Short Track disciplines. Among the guests of honor there will be Peter Sagan who, at the 2008 Val di Sole World Championships, won the gold medal in Cross Country (Junior category).

path

The Daolasa di Commezzadura race course was designed by the organization by combining fast sections with technical segments. A choice appreciated by the Swiss Alessandra Keller: “it is a very beautiful route, with new, faster and smoother sections. The ending, in particular, is different from previous years, very funny.” Words of appreciation also from Daniele Braidot: “The new route suits my characteristics better. There aren’t many areas where you can take a breather, it seems more challenging than in previous years. Now in the final it is possible to make a greater difference, and it gives a greater chance of being able to complete a solo action before the finish line.”
