The Tuscan U13M 3×3 men’s volleyball tournament saw the VBC Calci di Podere del Pari team take second place.
Coach Tozzini’s boys performed admirably, finishing the final concentration held in Massa Marittima with two victories and one defeat.
For the athletes of VBC Calci, who were all under age, an excellent result had already been achieved having returned to the lot of the four teams that met in the finalists’ round.
By beating both Scarperia Pallavolo and Club Arezzo and suffering a single narrow defeat against UPC Camaiore, the competitive season comes to an end.
The club congratulated all the athletes, both those who played the matches as a starting trio or having come on from the bench: Turturiello born in 2011, Papucci born in 2011, Fruzzetti born in 2013, Positano born in 2013, but also to Horton and Diciotti who were absent; furthermore, applause went to the entire coaching team; Tozzini, Bedini, Staltari and Buccolini.
