Devecchi analyzes the aggressive market in Sassari

To Giacomo “Jack” Devecchi, general director of Banco di Sardegna Sassari, was asked to comment on Dinamo’s aggressive market, which as of June 10th has already completed more than half of the roster for next season, with a clear advantage over its Serie A opponents, in a published interview today on La Nuova Sardegna. Some of his considerations.

Well ahead of the competition. “True, in the misfortune of not being able to reach the playoffs, we took advantage of the advantage of being able to move ahead of other clubs. And it helps that Nenad Markovic has very clear ideas. So we managed to enter the market decisively.”

There is an advantage in completing trades at the beginning of the market. “The general manager Federico Pasquini is good at finding the right compromise between our needs and current market prices. It is undeniable that the bar has been raised in recent years, because other cities such as Venice, Tortona and Brescia have been added to the big Milan and Bologna, which have always shown they can sign high-level players. The market has made a leap forward, in this context we are always trying to have our say, but without biting off more than we can chew as is our habit. For the moment we are happy, some additions are missing.”

There are two main reinforcements that Dinamo still needs: the change in the center spot and the starting guard. “There will certainly be more athleticism and physicality to compete with the big teams and possibly in Europe. We will know more in the coming weeks.”
