Disappointment, therefore, certainly overcome but, indeed, focus already projected on the next tournament. Also because after the first position achieved, it must be defended from the return of Nole but also and above all from Carlos Alcaraz, perhaps the most fearsome opponent for Jannik both for the present and for the future.

Alcaraz will play the tournament with Zverev in the final scheduled for today and Jannik has now already set his sights on Wimbledon which kicks off the grass season. In the famous English tournament, scheduled from 1 to 14 July, Sinner has never won. In 2023 his run stopped in the semifinals, beaten by Novak Djokovic in a great display.

That tournament, however, was won by Carlos Alcaraz. On the one hand, this is certainly good news for Sinner, considering how the Spaniard will only have to lose in terms of points for the Ranking: if he were to win the tournament, in fact, he would not gain anything but, on the contrary, he could only lose points if he were not to reach home the tournament.

Meanwhile, bookmakers are already certain of what will happen both at Wimbledon and the Olympics, which will be played on the red clay courts of Roland Garros. As far as the London tournament is concerned, Sinner is the favorite for Sisal, so much so that a victory for him is priced at just 2.5 times the stake, the same odds for the Olympics too.

And many are already predicting a new head-to-head with Alcaraz, with Sinner ready to take revenge after what happened last Friday.
