The jersey for the leader of the flying finishes represents the real novelty of the 2024 Giro Ciclistico della Provincia di Como which, now in its 75thto edition, is scheduled from 16 June to 29 September on the roads of the provinces of Como, Lecco and Sondrio. In each of the four stages (Bregnano on 16 June, Costa Masnaga on 21 July, Sondrio on 4 August and Albese with Cassano on 29 September) up to three flying finishes can be established, each of which will award five points to the winner, three to the second and one to the third; Furthermore, for the time trial stage in Alzate Brianza (20 July), it will be possible to set up a flying finish line in conjunction with the arrival.
Jerseys
The flying finishes shirt (green) will join the other three traditionally up for grabs, which concern the general ranking (white), the ranking of first-year athletes (cyclamen) and the ranking relating to the mountain grand prix (white with red polka dots) . There will also be a ranking reserved for registered companies.
This will also be the case for the second edition of the Lario Young Challenge dedicated to the Beginners category: the winners of the flying finishes will be awarded the blue (1st year) and light blue (2nd year) jerseys. The Challenge will always be run in five trials starting on June 29th in Carbonate and ending in Lambrugo on September 29th.

The presentation of both events took place in Figino Serenza; Among those present also the president of FederCiclismo Lombardia, Stefano Pedrinazzi.
The Giro will take place over three provinces. In addition to Como, as already mentioned, there will also be space for the Costa Masnaga and Sondrio races; the Challenge, however, will take place entirely in the Como area.
Collaboration
«In a very difficult period, a spirit of collaboration between our two committees, commitment and passion on the part of everyone towards youth cycling», these are the key points with which the president of FederCiclismo Lecco, Alessandro Bonacina, wanted to explain the relationship, narrow, which links the two Como cycling committees.
So too does the president of Sondrio, Paolo Pedrazzi, who greets the 75th edition of the Giro with satisfaction: «The collaboration between the provinces of Como, Lecco and Sondrio has demonstrated and is still demonstrating today that union and collaboration cannot do nothing but encourage the activity which for these categories represents the foundations of tomorrow’s cycling”, he writes in this regard.
