BMW is already looking to the future, with the R 1300 GS already appearing to be destined to be part of the German giant’s past.

The engine that is mounted internally on this motorbike is a 1300cc twin-cylinder which can deliver up to a maximum of 145 horsepower.
In this way it has the possibility of exceeding 200 km/h as a maximum speed peak, with its starting cost being 20,850 Euros. But now things are changing at home BMW, so much so that this will no longer be the top model of the range, but there is now a flagship worthy of note.

Now it is no longer a simple rumor, because the BMW has made it official that it has registered the trademark of the new legendary, even more high-performance version of the R 1300 GS, with the variant Adventure. This is a model that is even more in step with the times, so much so that it will also feature an automatic transmission, a true innovation from the German company.
In addition to this it will also be possible to admire the presence of the ASA system, i.e Automatic Shift Assistant, which will make driving on the road even more practical and faster. The engine will remain the same, but there will be a slight increase in power, with this one going so to 153 horsepower, although this may not lead to better speeds.
There R 1300 GS Adventure it will be a heavier bike than the basic model, so this could lead to a slight drop in performance. In fact, the weight will increase to 271 kg, a significant increase, with the weight of the fuel being up to 29 liters if the tank is full. The price and when it will be released on the market are not yet known, but it already seems close to the end of 2024.
