MERCATO, Palladino and new faces: it’s the purple revolution

Corriere dello Sport talks about an agreement reached and an imminent official announcement regarding the arrival on the Viola bench of Raffaele Palladino. The coach from Campania will have the task of reviving an environment damaged by the third final lost in the last two years but will have to carry forward an important legacy that Fiorentina has managed to build for itself in the three years of Italian football. A two-year contract is expected for him with an option for the third year in favor of the Viola. These days could be decisiveperhaps as early as tomorrow with the press conference in which sporting director Pradè and general manager Ferrari will speak.

That of technical driving, however, will not be the only revolution expected this summer in the latitudes of Viola Park, where Loan players are no longer expected like Arthur, Maxime Lopez, Belotti, Faraoni, but not even some of the various Bonaventura, Duncan, Castrovilli and Kouamé, all in contract expiry. Then it will be time for the transfer market: at the entrance the priorities will be to have a centre-forward, a couple of wingers, a playmaker, a midfielder and a central defender. While outgoing a lot it will depend on the offers that arrive for the various ikoné, Christensen, Nzola, Barak, Infantino and, perhaps, also for Nico Gonzalez.
