Peace Cup: Pezzo Rosola signs the first!

In the traditional international challenge of Sant’Ermete (RN) the first, very prestigious, celebration of Rosola piece (General Store) arrived thanks to an escape and an excellent finisseur ending.

What decided the fate of the race was, in fact, a sortie of 14 units that dropped off about thirty km from the start in which the Veronese from Garda, born in 2002, and his teammate also entered. Lorenzo Peschi, then splendid third on arrival. In the finale, Pezzo Rosola surprised everyone with a solitary attack 600 meters from the white line which resulted in him being able to put his stamp on one of the most prestigious goals for the Under23s.

“I’m very happy!” He said Kevin Pezzo Rosola. “I hadn’t won on the road yet and it was a wonderful feeling, even more so because this race is an international one. I didn’t expect it and I’m really very happy. At the end of the breakaway there were seven of us left and with 7km to go I tried to attack, but they caught me at around minus 5km. I took a breather and at 600 meters I started with a seated progression. I took a 200 meter lead and got there. At the last km I started to be very optimistic, because I was feeling good and there weren’t any very fast runners with me. When I saw the hole at 200 meters, I knew I would make it. I dedicate this victory to my girlfriend, to the team that supported me and to my family!”
