2 groups of 21 teams

Reform of the FIP champions for next season, here’s how it changes National Serie B. In the Qualification Phase the teams will be divided into 2 days of 21 teams and will compete with home and away matches for a total of 42 matches. The teams ranked from ninth to twelfth will be admitted to the Play in and will meet as follows:

first round (single match at home of the best ranked team in the first phase):
a) race a) 9th – 12th
b) race b) 10th-11th

second round:
a) match c) 7th-winner match b (determines the 7th team on the play-off grid) b)
match d) 8th-winner match a (determines the 8th team on the play-off grid)

The teams that won the play-in and the teams classified from 1st to 6th place at the end of the qualifying phase will access the play-offs, and will meet in crossed groups with a Home-Home-Away-Away-Home sequence. The two teams that win the Final will be promoted to Serie A2 as of 2025/2026. The third promotion will be determined by a play-off on a neutral pitch between the two losers of the Play Off finals.

RETROCESSION
The two teams ranked in 21st place will be directly relegated to the interregional Serie B as of 2025/2026.
The teams ranked from 17th to 20th place will enter the play outs and will face each other in crossed groups with a Home-Home-Away-Away-Home sequence with the following formula:
a) 17° vs 20°
b) 18th vs 19th
c) Loser of match a) vs loser of match b)
The two teams that lose the play outs are relegated to the interregional Serie B championship for 2025/2026.
