Pistoia, last night the end of the season party and the final farewell

It was held yesterday evening, Monday 20 May, the end of season party for the club, team and AS technical staff Extract Pistoia Basketball 2000 who, last Friday, ended their championship after losing game 3 of the UnipolSai LBA playoff quarter-finals against Germani Brescia.

After the touching embrace of the PalaCarrara, which continued well beyond the sound of the last siren of the match against the Lombardy white-blues, the location for the end-of-season dinner was Villa Guicciardini in Usella (Cantagallo, Prato) thanks to the desire to grant this epilogue by the host, Manuele Lo Conte, owner of Lo Conte Edile Costruzioni srl, one of the red and white Gold sponsors.

Between one course and another, it was also an opportunity for the company to present a plaque to those who recently won the LBA prizes, namely Payton Willis included in the best quintet of the championship, Charlie Moore as the best scorer of the regular season, the coach of the year Nicola Brienza and recognition for the top manager a Massimo Capecchi, until a few weeks ago president of Estra Pistoia Basket. Great applause and thanks also to all the sponsors present on the playing kit, equally protagonists together with the club on the LBA fields in this season which will remain in red and white history, as well as to the institutions present starting from the Municipality of Pistoia. At the end of the evening, the inevitable cutting of the cake was accompanied by a beautiful fireworks display which thrilled everyone present.

With this appointment there was, officially, a loosening of lines given that the American players today, Tuesday 21 May, all left to return home.
