Ducati, a dream Le Mans

If in Jerez they were competing for the victory until the last corner Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Marquezat Le Mans the two were joined Jorge Martin, who mocked his rivals by crossing the finish line first under the checkered flag. And the doubts about the ‘single-brand’ Ducati, thanks to the great show on the track, are fading into the background.

As usual, Luigi Dall’Igna – general manager of Ducati Corse – has entrusted his to the company website comment at the French weekend. The Italian finds himself in the awkward position of having to choose who to partner with Bagnaia in 2025, between Martin, Marquez and Bastianini – first, second and fourth respectively at Le Mans.

Dall’Igna’s words

“4 Ducatis in the same number of top positions, 6 in the top 7. A spectacular race on an exemplary day for our teams. The numbers say this but even more convincing is what we saw on the track between Saturday and Sunday, confirming the great work that all our teams are doing with bikes and riders.
A superb Martin he doubled the Sprint Race by winning a heart-pounding GP, in an exciting challenge decided in the sprint after a close fight until the last corner. As always fast and stubbornwas able to seize the moment to take the lead and stay there, imposing himself with the right aggressiveness but also perfect competitive sense.

Marquez confirmed the brilliant progress he is making, his leaps and bounds, which it is, taking his Ducati from starting position 13 to second position which counts as a victory. He is now constantly in front dueling for the podium and repeats, with an excellent race, second place on Saturday after the disappointing qualifying.
Pecco after an excellent start, the kind he knows how to do, he was the protagonist of a tight race with great character, he gave everything attacking and defending with the generosity of a champion, only suffering the return of Martin first and then Marquez at the end. An apparently interim result, in reality, in the context of a long and demanding championship for everyone, these are not easy races that you need to know how to lead to the podium. Enea’s fourth place is an important result taking into account the penalty he had to serve, without which in my opinion he could have fought for the top, and he would have deserved it also considering the fastest lap of the race set in the last laps.
Today I enjoy our bikes and our teams, our riders and our mechanics, our colors and our wonderful fans! A heartfelt thank you to everyone. Ducati red!”
