On Friday 17 May Santarcangelo will also be affected by the passage from the 13th stage of the 107th Giro d’Italia, Riccione-Centopreceded by the passage of the “Giro-E” reserved for bicycles with pedal assistance.
Since the Corsa Rosa will pass along the Via Emilia both in the urban section (via Ugo Braschi) and in the extra-urban section coinciding with the closing time of various schools in Santarcangelo, on the recommendation of the Provincial Committee for public order and safety, the municipal administration has ordered the early closure at 12pm of schools which finish their teaching activities around 1pmin consideration of the limits on traffic circulation due to the passage of the Giro.
In detail, the provision concerns school buildings and classes, including part-time sections of nursery schools, which finish their teaching activities approximately between 12.30 pm and 1.45 pmwhile the opening hours of schools and classes in the municipal area remain unchanged – including in this case also the nursery sections – which end their teaching activities after 1.45 pm.
As regards specifically the changes to traffichowever, for the entire length of the SS9 in the Santarcangelo area, from the border with Rimini to that with Savignano sul Rubicone, road traffic will be temporarily suspended in both directions starting from 10.30 am until the competition has passed , signaled by the green flag at the end of the race.
On both sides of via Ugo Braschi, a parking ban will also be established with forced removal from approximately 8 am to 2.30 pm, and in any case also in this case until the end of the race.
