There are 7 nations that have achieved victories in the first 9 stages of the Giro d’Italia 2024, one more than what happened in 2023, taking the same period as reference. In this edition, three successes for Slovenia (all with Pogacar), one each for Ecuador, Belgium, Italy, France, Spain and Holland.

He was the only Italian cyclist to score Jonathan Milan, winner in Andora. There are 162 runners who completed the ninth stage of the Giro d’Italia 2024, same number as the last edition. In 2023 9 of them did not leave Scandiano again the day after the rest, including the Belgian Remco Evenepoel who was leading the general classification at that moment.
