CIAMPINO (sport) – The initiative is held to support mothers in need of both material and psychological help

On Saturday morning rugby was dressed in solidarity at the “Arnaldo Fuso” sports field in Ciampino, thanks to the commitment of the Ciampino Rugby Club who promoted and organized the charity event for the Association Save mothers now in its fourth edition. The association takes care of mothers who need both material and psychological support and every possible help.
“The participating teams were represented by their respective presidents: Tonino Siclari for Pomezia Rugby, Daniele Mariotti for Lupi Frascati, Franco Pasqualini for the Falchi, and Giulio Brescancin for Mole Rugby and also as DS of Lazio Rugby. For the FF ORO the technicians Massimiliano Bizzozzero and Alberto Altigeri and the heartfelt closeness of the President Tommaso Niglio unfortunately absent due to service commitments which we thank. The support of our Federation was given by the President of the FIR Lazio Maurizio Amedei and our thanks go to all of them. The highest city institutions were present. Our Mayor Emanuela Colella, Deputy Mayor Alessandra Mantuano and Mauro Testa President of the City Council to whom we extend our heartfelt thanks” say the organizers.
The activity took place in two sectors: track and field. Guests of honor were the Mothers, protagonists together with the little budding “rugbists” of the Under 6 mother – child relay on the track, while games for the under 8 category took place on the pitch. In the second part the fathers also took to the field.
“Our State Police is the protagonist, present both with the Dog Unit and the Scientific Unit. Their performances were much applauded. The anti-snatch intervention for the handler and police dog and the forensic intervention at the crime scene with fingerprinting are a beautiful memory for all adults and children. Particular and heartfelt thanks go to Prefect Armando Forgione, Central Director of Personnel, for what was put in place for the realization of the day, who was also unfortunately absent for Institute reasons, together with the heads of the departments who attended. Both the Third Half and the ritual photo under our posts placed by our Club on the pitch are inevitable, which as announced by the Mayor will be the subject of a major renovation while remaining public and of a multidisciplinary nature. The Third Half was special and unique for this sport where everyone shares not only something about gastronomy but shared values. We don’t play against someone but with another team. All the work to create the Third Time was possible from the morning work to set up by the fathers and mothers who did their utmost, coordinated by Anita, for the excellent success of this sector of the event. Thanks to our educators – technicians for what they have done and above all to the “Miniairships” whose growth remains our main objective according to the rules given by the Club Managers, each in their role of responsibility. Thanks go to our supporters: Management Dem supermarkets for their great contribution, Burger King Ciampino and area management for what was contributed, employees for what was donated, Ancient Lattanzi pork butchery, Pyroparty.
