Many strong and intense emotions were experienced on this warm second Sunday of May, just outside Bologna. Unicusano Livorno Rugby under 12 finished in fourth place at the prestigious interregional tournament in Pieve di Cento. Regardless of the excellent final placing, the event will be remembered for a long time by the protagonists. The very young green and whites (athletes born in 2012 and 2013) faced the competitive commitment and their matches with notable and commendable determination, never giving up until the end. They gave the many adults gathered on the sidelines actions that highlighted their improvement; a crescendo resulting from the way in which these rugby players have been supporting their sporting events since the beginning of the season. So much aggregation that did not end on the fields of Pieve, but which also continued in Livorno, at the ‘Maneo’, without extinguishing the festive atmosphere that characterized the intense day.
