The mayor of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri, has announced the extension of the restrictive measures for the circulation of the most polluting vehicles within the Fascia Verde ZTL. The ordinance, which will be in effect until October 31, 2024, aims to improve air quality by reducing harmful emissions.
Details of the Ban and Vehicles Affected
The measure will affect petrol and diesel vehicles prior to Euro 1 standards, as well as Euro 1, Euro 2 and Euro 3 diesel and petrol vehicles. Mopeds and motorbikes powered by pre-Euro 1 and Euro 1 petrol and diesel will also be subject to the ban. . The restriction will be applied continuously from Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays, operating 24 hours a day.
