The scenario has opened after the sensational defeat suffered by Novak Djokovic in the third round of the Italian Internationalswhere he was annihilated in two sets by the amazing Chilean Alejandro Tabilo.
The Serbian remains at the top of the ATP ranking with 9,860 points, but will have to discard the 2,000 points obtained twelve months ago for the success on the clay of Paris. The Italian tennis player, however, is at 8,770 points after having withdrawn from the capital tournament due to a hip problem and the bill for the result obtained last year in the French capital is equal to just 45 points (lost in the second round against the German Altmaier). Novak Djokovic will therefore drop to 7,860 points when Roland Garros starts, while Jannik Sinner will start it with 8,725 points.
