Viadana is the first finalist of the top Italian rugby championship. At the Zaffanella the hosts, and dominators of the regular season, struggled to get the better of Marcello Violi’s Valorugby, but in the end they snatched the victory which meant the final. Tomorrow Rovigo-Petrarca Padova to decide the second finalist.
A difficult match, as mentioned, for the hosts who conceded Sbrocco’s try after 7 minutes. Valorugby persists and in the 16th minute he extends from the pitch with Ledesma, even if Roger Farias responds for two minutes, still on his feet. Ledesma again extends in the 21st minute, but Roger Farias responds for the 6-13 with which we go to rest.
In the second half it took Viadana almost 20 minutes to find the first goal of the match. Sauze scores it for 11-13. In the 64th minute Valorugby pulled away from the pitch with Ledescma, but in the 67th minute the decisive goal by Citrullo, with Roger Farias’ conversion worth the final 18-16.
