The number of parcels delivered to Pordenone, Udine, Gorizia and Trieste by Poste Italiane letter carriers continues to grow. A growing trend throughout Italy which saw record numbers in Friuli-Venezia Giulia in the first quarter of the year with an increase of +18.2% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Capillarity, efficiency of distribution and the continuous transformation of the logistics network of Poste Italiane which in the region can count on a fleet of vehicles, of which 311 low emission vehicles (in addition to the 63 electric tricycles and quadricycles and the 70 hybrids already present in the area for the delivery of parcels and correspondence), are the factors that have made it possible to reach this important goal and which contribute to guaranteeing the delivery service throughout the entire territory, from the smallest municipalities to the largest cities.

“In the first three months of this year, Poste Italiane delivered 71 million parcels, an increase compared to the same period last year, with a growth in volumes delivered by postmen of more than 50%” – declared CEO Matteo Del Fante in an interview with TGPoste after the presentation of the Company’s results.

In addition to traditional logistics, Poste’s distribution can count on the Punto Poste network, made up of over 15,500 parcel collection and shipping points. In Friuli – Venezia Giulia there are also Lockers, self-service points with extended opening hours through which you can return your online purchases which must be sent with Poste Italiane.
