The IcsPian del Bruscolo did an encore. After the success at the provincial track athletics phase, where the institution managed to qualify for the regional phase with both categories – female and male -, the boys and girls of the school also made their mark in rugby. Both the cadets (photo) and the female cadets reached the regional TAG final for lower secondary education institutions, organized by the Regional School Office with the technical collaboration of the FIR Italian Rugby Federation. A resounding success that came after winning the triangular tournament in Pesaro with the Istituto Comprensivo Statale ‘Matteo Nuti’ of Fano and the ‘Dante Alighieri’ of Pesaro. At the final event which was held on Monday 29 April, at the Nelson Mandela Oval Ball Stadium, the four winning schools for the cadet and cadet categories of the respective provincial phases competed.
Unfortunately, the race ended at the provincial stage with two third places, but the pride of the whole school, of the physical education teachers and of the principal Daniela Pasciuti is quadruple: in less than a month they celebrated the successes of two teams of athletics (finals scheduled for 8 May) and two rugby games, celebrating the institute at a regional level thanks to the sporting skills of their boys and girls.
