Senna, six episodes to tell the story of a myth
30 years after the day of his tragic death, which occurred on 1 May 1994 on the Imola circuit, Netflix has unveiled the first trailer of the TV series which will be dedicated to Ayrton Senna. The one on the Brazilian legend will not be a documentary with original footage – as happened for example with Michael Schumacher – but rather one full-blown television serieswith the actor Gabriel Leone who will play the three-time Brazilian world champion on screen.
They will be there are six episodes in which the product branded by the American giant will be dividedwhich thus confirms its strong link with Formula 1, inaugurated in 2018 with the first season of the docu-series Drive to Survivewhich took viewers behind the scenes of the F1 Circus for the first time, quickly turning into a (controversial) global success.

In the series presentation post, Netflix explained how the series is “inspired by the life, career and relationships of the greatest Brazilian driver of all time, will arrive on Netflix in 2024“. The trailer is all aboutepic race finale of the 1991 Brazilian GPwhich marked Senna’s first historic victory on his home track of Interlagos, and ends with the immortal scream – a mixture of fatigue and happiness – that ‘Magic’ exploded over the radio after the checkered flag.
