Volleyball Borgonovo is already looking to next season: Maurizio Tirinti new sports director

There Volleyball Borgonovo has yet to conclude its season but, in the meantime, the Borgonono club is working towards the next one. For this reason the president Isabella Gerbi has clear ideas for the 2024-2025 vintage that lead to the return of Maurizio Tirinti as sports director.

“We decided to launch a new project and we immediately looked for a person who could become the point of reference for the entire sector, in order to carry out our work with professionalism and competence – explained the president Isabella Gerbi –. Qualities that we have identified in Maurizio Tirinti, a manager with many years of experience behind him, who enthusiastically accepted our proposal. The Tirinti experience will certainly be of great help and stimulus.”

The 56-year-old manager of Castellano origins has held the role of Team manager and Sports Director at the consortium for the last two seasons MioVolley with which he obtained promotion to the national B1 series, winning the Italian Cup with the first team.

The first words expressed by Maurizio Tirinti: “I thank the company for this important role and I will try to give new impetus and new energy to the path undertaken with seriousness and passion by the company in recent years, making my knowledge and skills available. There is certainly a lot to do and rebuild in this historic club which deserves to return to its ancient beginnings by investing first and foremost in coaches and young promising volleyball players. We are already working to build a year of relaunch starting from the construction of the youth sector teams, planning an efficient management of human, material and financial resources”.
