The eastern country in question has a great motorcycling history, so you should never take lightly a creation coming from a Japanese company.
From Japan with fury: here are some spectacular vehicles
The manufacturer we are talking about is the Yamaha, and the vehicle is the Tricity. Made by the company since 2014, it is now back in the news thanks to a single-cylinder engine designed and created with Blue Core technology. Adopts VVA technology (improves performance and reduces fuel system). It is equipped with a Start&Stop system controlled by a control unit capable of managing the electrical and electronic functions.
The system uses the same group to both generate power and start the scooter. It acts directly on the crankshaft, therefore the noise of gears and the classic wear of a traditional starter motor are eliminated. The chassis has been modified, and new, longer rear shock absorbers have been adopted. As regards the standard equipment, we can highlight the new LCD instrumentation with which it is possible to connect the smartphone using the MyRide app, Smart Key to keep in your pocket and capable of replacing the traditional key.
The footrest is wide at the front, while the passenger footrests are easier to extract. The available versions are those of a 125 (4,499 euros) and 155 (4,000 euros). In both cases, however, you are on the safe side. In the course of its long history, in fact, Yamaha has demonstrated quite clearly that it knows how to do it with commercial creations of all kinds, and even these vehicles will not fall outside of the trend that has often seen the Japanese company as a major protagonist. Having said that, there is nothing left to do but find out how things will actually go on the market for these two very interesting three-wheeled vehicles.
