There was certainly no lack of spectacle and enthusiasm in the regional finals which awarded the Under 19 Male and Under 18 Female titles, which were staged in Tuscania and Colleferro, under the aegis of the Regional Committee,

once again attesting to the high technical level of the Lazio clubs, which this year too have showcased talents that will certainly assert themselves in the national finals and, looking further, in the next few years in the important volleyball.
In the men’s category, Marino Pallavolo ASD celebrates while in the women’s category, the dominance of Volleyrò Casal de’ Pazzi continues, a club that has always been a leader in the youth field capable of finding and promoting players who then found a great dimension in national volleyball and in the blue jersey.

“After the success recorded last week by the Aequilibrium Cup-Trofeo dei Territori – underlined the president Andrea Burlandi – CR Lazio and all the companies involved demonstrated, both in Tuscania and Colleferro, the very high level of the entire regional movement. The teams that fought for the titles in both the men’s and women’s categories in these finals displayed volleyball of the highest level and will certainly represent the Region in the national finals in the best possible way, winking at the most important placings “

Under 19 men’s finals –
Celebrating on the top step of the podium in the men’s Under 19 was Marino Pallavolo Cisterna Volley who beat the hosts Etruria Volley Tuscanica 3-1 in a heated final. Ronsini’s boys won the first two sets with momentum but then had to suffer the proud desire of the hosts who, dragged by the friendly public, reacted in the third set, first taking the lead and then closing it in their favour, extending the match. In the fourth set we fight again, with no holds barred, then from 15-15 Marino breaks away until 15-19 (16-20). In the final, the decisive break from Marino Pallavolo – Cisterna Volley who, after wasting a first match point with a serve to the net, ended 21-25.
Confirming the quality of the protagonists of these finals was the very heated challenge for third place between Roma 7 Volley Young and La Fenice, a real marathon of over two hours and thirty minutes of emotions and head turnarounds, which in the end rewarded Roma 7, after a tie break closed to the advantage by Lorusso and his teammates, which obviously left a bad taste in the mouths of Sardella’s boys who however deserved the thunderous applause of the Tuscania public.

Under 18 women’s finals –
The Colleferro Sports Hall saw Volleyrò Casal de Pazzi crowned Regional Under 18 Champions, as predicted, beating Volley Friends with a clear 3-0. A result perhaps widely expected on the eve but which Cappelletti’s team, well placed on the field, difficult and stubborn until the last point, tried in every way to counteract, at times demonstrating that they deserved much more than what they achieved. But when Esposito and her teammates raised the pace of the game, the games were completed and the title went to the strongest team. However, Volleyrò and Volley Friends will represent Lazio together in the National Finals in Conversano (BA) from 12 to 19 May.
Before the Final, the match to award the bronze medal was played; beautiful and hard-fought match which saw Sck Volley Cali Virtus Roma get the better of 3-2 over Duemila12 Ostia VC thanks to a defense that held its ground and the reconstruction of the counterattack which brought decisive points especially in those sets (the first lost and the second won) where, despite starting badly, he had the stubbornness to recover the right attitude and the conviction to believe in winning the match.
