RUGBY PIEVE-FI.FA. SECURITY URSBT 24-19
On the penultimate day of the championship, Fi.Fa. Security Unione Rugby San Benedetto lost on the pitch of Rugby Pieve 1971 with the final score of 24-19. Sunday of passion for Fi.Fa. In the second half the Union maintained possession of the ball, forcing their opponents to expose themselves, but Pieve took advantage of a ball lost by the rossoblù to push towards the goal. But the Sambenedettos showed character, reacting promptly and scoring a goal with Perna, transformed once again by Di Bartolomeo, remaining close to Pieve, who continued to push in attack and with a good game in hand reached the goal again. The Fi.Fa. Security doesn’t give up, and until the end he looks for a free opening, caught by Vaccari who wins the third try for the rossoblù, not converted, closing a good match at 24-19 in favor of Rugby Pieve.

Exciting Sunday also at the Mandela field, where the women’s Serie A match was played between the Spartan Queens from the Marche against Bisceglie Rugby, who put on a show with a sequence of exciting tries that ended 77-0 for the Spartan girls, where they play 2 young promises who grew up on the San Benedetto pitch, Alessandra Curzi and Asia Basile who played an excellent match in their roles on the pitch.
The last match for Serie B will be at the Mandela field on Sunday 5 May at 3.30pm, Fi.Fa. Security will face Romagna Rfc, currently first in the standings.
