The wait and the journey
It’s the day of the celebration, with fans in the streets of the city. In procession. What was missing in 2021, due to Covid. Today the Nerazzurri people take to the streets (over 50 thousand fans expected) for the celebratory parade of twentieth championship of Inter. For over five hours, after the match at San Siro against Torino, Inzaghi’s team was up two open buses (one for the staff) will invade the streets from the stadium to the Duomo. The weather also favored the celebration, predicting a sunny afternoon after the clouds in the morning.
We will leave from San Siro at 4pm (here is the detailed infographic of the route) then via Caprilli, piazzale Lotto, via Vigliani, viale Teodorico and piazza Firenze. From there, Corso Sempione. Then viale Melzi D’Eril, viale Giorgio Byron, viale Elvezia, piazzale Biancamano, viale Francesco Crispi, piazza XXV Aprile, Bastioni di Porta Nuova and via Melchiorre Gioia. At that point there is Viale della Liberazione, and the parade under the Inter headquarters which will be decorated especially for the occasion. We will continue along viale Ferdinando di Savoia, piazza della Repubblica and via Turati. Finally via Manzoni, piazza della Scala, via Santa Margherita, via Giuseppe Mengoni, and piazza Duomo: eight kilometres, for over five hours of walking.
