The under 12 men’s team of Volleyball Scarperia won the “2024 Liberation Cup” trophy by winning all the matches played. Clear path for Scarperia (2-0; 2-0; 2-0) until the final match against the famous Modena Volley, decisive to win the trophy. The Scarperia boys, led on the bench by the Cammelli Nardoni couple, lose the first set (19-25); then, down by 5 points in the second, they put in a series of winning serves that put them back in the competition until they won the set 25 to 23. We go to the tie-break which sees Scarperia leading from the start, to end with a clear 15-7 in favor of the Mugellans.
At the end of the awards ceremony, Nicolas Landi, setter of Scarperia Volleyball, was elected “MVP” of the Tournament.
